Stephen R. Smoak is a 1996 graduate of Furman University. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was a member of the South Carolina Law Review. He joined the law firm in 2000 and practices in the areas of civil and domestic litigation, handling matters for both Plaintiffs and Defendants. He has extensive trial experience in the circuit courts and family courts of South Carolina. He also handles real estate matters. Stephen has served two terms on Kershaw County Council and is currently the Vice-Chairman. He also serves on the board for the Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments and chairs the Workforce Committee. He has been President of Kershaw County Bar Association; the Kiwanis Club of Camden; and a board member of the Kershaw County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs.
